Núria is Catalan and trained as a teacher. As an expert in international cooperation and evaluation of humanitarian aid projects, she has broad experience especially in the fields of municipalism, decentralized cooperation and social movements in the region of Central America.

She was in charge of the Catalan Development Cooperation Fund (Fons Català de Cooperació al Desenvolupament – FCCD) between 1987 and 2006, and contributed to the promotion and establishment of several international networking of municipalities.

From 1996 to 2002 she served on the Development Cooperation Council of the Catalan Government, and she is currently its Chair.

She is the Director of AVALUEM, anàlisi i desenvolupament, an independent consultancy in the field of international cooperation and sustainable development. A post she has held since 2006. She has carried out several tasks such as: evaluations in Central and South America and Africa, studies for strategic plans for NGOs, training courses, etc.
