Imma is a trained teacher and holds a postgraduate certificate in project cycle management. She is an expert in international cooperation and has lived in Nicaragua for over 12 years where she worked for the Catalan Agency for Development Cooperation, Catalan Development Cooperation Fund and some NGOs. By virtue of her work in this country, she has travelled extensively in Central America.
