Between the municipalities of Camoapa (Nicaragua) and Sant Just Desvern (Catalonia) there is a brotherhood since 1991, which has generated a history of more than fifteen years of shared work. Development projects have been conducted, have been launched bonds of brotherhood between the respective high schools, parishes and, recently, between both cities radio stations.
The Association Sant Just Solidari (SJS) was founded in 1995 with the aim to promote cooperation projects and actions generated by the brotherhood with the municipality of Camoapa; therefore they constitute the main activity of SJS. For his work, SJS has resources of the Fundació Sant Just Solidari, created in 1998 and which brings together individuals, companies and public bodies.
